General Meeting/Creative Suite User Group
|
The General Meeting of OCMMA meets every third Tuesday of the month, in concert with the Creative Suite User Group - Orange County (CS-OC) . The goal of this official Adobe sponsored group is to continue to provide local designers and developers with a forum for educational presentations and networking, focused on current developments in multimedia, web technology, and the digital arts. Special guests and members share tips and techniques for popular Adobe and other applications, showcase computer hardware & software and camera equipment, and discuss best business practices for multimedia professionals, especially those who are developing their own enterprises. Topics are selected to have broad appeal across the various multimedia disciplines. In addition, every month we'll dive into some aspect of the Adobe Creative Suite, with a special focus on ways to streamline your workflow and jump back and forth among apps to get your work done. We'll have a special segment at each meeting called: "Creative Suite Treats", where a 5 to 10 minute demo will highlight a particular tool or technique in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, etc. Cynthia Gordon, who is the current President of OCMMA, is the Manager of CS-OC.
