Lightroom vs. Photoshop & Wacom Tablet Basics
General Meeting/Creative Suite User Group - Tuesday, April 17
Have you ever wondered about when to use Lightroom or Photoshop? Or is a tablet better than a mouse?
At our meeting this month, we'll welcome Lynette Kent, who will discuss the benefits and strengths of Lightroom vs Photoshop, when to use which, and who will get the most out of each program.
She will also demonstrate the Wacom tablet and how to make it your only input device.
A writer, photographer, and artist, Lynette has written nine books for Wiley Publishing, including books on the Mac Operating System, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop from CS2 through her latest book on CS6. She also writes articles and reviews and has been published in MacToday, Photoshop Elements User, Design Tools Monthly, and ShootSmarter.com.
She often presents digital technology or photography tools at trade shows and now at MacMall, and has been presenting and teaching the use of Wacom digitizing tablets since 1999.
Lynette is also User Group Manager for ATX SoCal, focusing on Photoshop, and has a Master of Arts from Stanford University.
