LA SIGGRAPH Field Trip - Digital Sculpture

Special Events - Tuesday, February 9

One computer graphics discipline becoming prevalent and widely used hroughout the creative industry is digital sculpting. The invited rtists will show some of their character and creature design work on major films and games, and quick sculpt and texturing techniques.

Modeling has undergone profound changes since early techniques. The programs utilized by the presenters have changed the way we think of modeling, using traditional concepts such as gesture, form, weight, gravity and design to create the model.
